Bus to Pedro St. James Castle?

The bus will get you within 1/4 mile or so of the Pedro St. James (may even drop you off there if they are feeling friendly, but you'd need to walk back to the main road for the return). Routes 3,4,5,8 or 9 are on the way.

Admission is $10 US

You would need to walk back to the main road (guessing a 1/2 mile), cross the street and flag down a westbound bus from the roadside. You can pay in USD, but you will get any change in CI$ for either the bus or the admission to Pedro St. James ($10 US). They do have guided tours of the house and grounds that follows a multi-media presentation.

We don't sail until 6 pm, so if I get out and about early, I should be fine. I have been to George Town several times by ship, so I do know about those tenders. But I may chicken out and end up doing the ship's excursion anyway, since I'm traveling solo and would hate to be left behind alone!
