Laundry Special on the Gem?

Many ships offer mid cruise laundry specials (all you can fit in a bag for a certain price)

Does the Gem offer this and if so, how much and on a 7-day cruise, when is it offered?

Usually the evening of day 2 or 3, clothes aren't back until day 5 or 6....price is $25 for all you can stuff in the bag. Roll the clothes tightly and you can fit quite a bit in the bag. On the last few cruises the laundry special was split up between a couple of days depending upon which deck your cabin was on....and our laundry was left out in the morning and was back that evening, even though they said it would be 2 days to get done. I guess it depends how busy the laundry gets.

We were on the Gem last week. It was a six day Bermuda which left on Monday. The laundry special was Thursday by noon back Saturday. We missed it and were accomodated for Friday morning and still back on Saturday. Bring a little shipping tape in case the bag rips...Hi Margaret.
