mill4023 Posted September 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2011 We are sailing on the Ruby Princess in December. I've been looking through the list of excursions on the Princess site and quite a few of them mention snorkeling, but they aren't very specific about where they go. From what I've read, we would really like to snorkel "the wall". Can anyone recommend a Princess excursion in GT that includes the wall? I'd be open to private excursions and I've read good things about Blue Water Divers, but it will just be my wife and I and I thought I read that you needed 4 people to book with them. mrobinson Posted September 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2011 We are going in November and there are just 2 of us. But I emailed Blue River Divers because I really wanted to go with them. They said that they would keep our info and if they got a request for another 2 people on the same day they would see if we were still interested. I did book a Princess cruise as a back up but last week they contacted us and another 2 people from our same ship were interested. So now we have 4 people. Give it a try and see if they find 2 other people for you. I'd much rather go on a snorkle excursion with 4 people instead of 75 people for about the same price
mill4023 Posted September 9, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted September 9, 2011 I'll definitely get in touch with them. Of course I'm still interested in hearing from anyone who has done the princess excursions in case it doesn't work out.

cruisewellwoman Posted October 23, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2011 Hi, we're doing a princess cruise in Dec. - the Ruby Princess leaving Dec 4th - is that the same one you're doing? I wanted to snorkel also in Grand Turk am no expert. What is the "wall"? If you still need 2 more people and we're on same cruise, may be a possibility. The Laughing Hyena Posted October 23, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 23, 2011 We are also traveling on the Ruby 12/4-11/2011 and are interested in a snorkeling trip while in Grand Turk. The area refered to as "the wall" drops from a distance of 30 feet to about 7000. I to am a begineer snorkeler and looking for a LESS intimidating experience.
