Destiny's dry dock

Hi,

I think I read somewhere that the destiny is going to be in dry dock in January 2012. We sail on 10/22/11 and I am nervous that the staff "won't care" enough to keep the ship looking great because of the renovations that will be done soon. Has anyone been on destiny latley or been on a ship that was about to be redone? Thanks for any advisement. :o

We were on the Liberty of the Seas the week before it went into dry dock. When we got back to Miami, it was going straight to whereever they worked on her. We saw no difference in the way the staff kept up the ship, it was always clean and beautiful. Once in a while there would be some workers in the hallways working on what looked like the wiring. One great "perk" we had was getting to see a trial run of the new "Dreamworks" parade and all the new characters. It was great!!
