Late night Camp Carnival Costs

I've heard that Carnival has New late night costs. Our past cruises we've paid $6.00 for the 1st and $4.00 for the 2nd child. If anyone knows the new rates, can you share them?

I've heard there is no 2nd child discount etc. Just trying to budget in a late night or 2. Thanks.

I know the per hour for one child went up to $6.75 per hour, plus a tip now. Each age group in Camp Carnival now has a "late night party", which cost extra as well. The 9-11 is $33.00 plus a tip, goes until 3:00 AM, the kids get some nice gifts, and for that age group, they escort them back to the cabin for you. There are similar one's for the 2-5 adn 6-8 groups, but I'm not sure of the cost and hours. Do a search for Camp Carnival, I know it was posted on the boards a while back. Not sure if it was here or on the Carnival Boards.

There was no gratuity added that I have heard of- although we do tip the camp staff at the end of the cruise.

The new price is $6.75 an hour per child- no more multi sibling discount (so instead of $10/hour for 2 kids, it will now be $13.50...:))

Like Naomi mentioned- there are some nights that have a special party theme and they will charge a flat amount, but they will be listed in the Camp Capers so you will be able to see the price before hand.

Have a great cruise!!:)

YUK and double YUK. We are sailing Oct 17 with 3 kids and were thinking of doing the late night one night. I had budgeted $14 an hour for all 3 and now it's $13.50 for 2.

Was just on the Camp Carnival pages to register my kids for our upcoming cruise and according to that its still $6 and $4:D

I agree, it does still say that online, however many who have recently sailed have posted the new rates :( I sail next week, not looking forward to having it be so much more! I was OK with $10/hour.

We just sailed Elation last week. The rates are $6.75 + 15% gratuity per hour per child. And on the last night there was still a little sand bucket sat out that said thanks! I guess the tip bucket is for the daytime staff? And the auto gratuity goes to the workers after 10.

There are some Night Owl programs for a set amount of hours and $ but DS5 barely made it to 9:30 when I picked him up and never asked to stay late. I know they push it more for the older groups.

My son always loved the late night party, but when we sailed on Glory in July - with a ton of kids aboard - they had to cancel the late night party for the 9-11s due to a lack of registrants. Between what my son heard from his friends and what one of the Camp Carnival counselors told me, it was just too pricey for a lot of folks.:(

That really sucks. I have a 1, 3 & 5 year old and Hubby and I were looking forward to going out for a drink, doing some dancing or to a show without the kids Older 2 can go to camp but baby is too young. This increase bumps it up from $28 to $42 for the 3 kids for 2 hours. :(

wow that is horrible...maybe on the ship you can meet a fam with teenager college age kid and they could watch the kids for few hours at a lower rate? i did this on a cruise when i sailed in dec with my parents made some extra cash and played games with the kids. i am not saying to use this person all cruise long maybe one time or so for two hours or some thing like that. i know if i was on ur sailing i would do it for ya:)
