LMT--Intercontinental Miami --on request??

I just tried booking our pre-cruise room for Oct. 9 on LMT. Found the IC, & it is saying "on request" with a rate of $124. Has anyone had this happen? Tried to book & the site said it could "attempt" to book our room in the next 48 hours (due to the fact their inventory was sold out) , & our card would not be charged. Is it possible to still get a room at the IC, or should I just book at the Conrad?

Thanks!

Kelly

Hasn't happened to me but many people here have said the same. Don't worry. Most DO get the room they want. Especially since you are going in off season. Give them the time to get the room at the IC. If you don't get an answer by Monday, call and make sure they didn't find a room there before you order another hotel. Good luck.
