Bringing Champagne On Board

I always take several bottles of Champagne onboard. Put it in your carry-on luggage or in a tote bag for safe keeping. We use a rolling cooler for all our beverages (soda, bottled water, some beer and the Champagne).

They may charge you a corkage fee in the dining room - usually about $10. We usually consume ours in the cabin or open it, pour it into glasses and take the glasses into the dining room. Never had a problem.

Happy sails!

It depends on the cruise line.

If you bring it into the dining room & you did not buy it from them, they will charge you a corkage fee.

If you want to try to smuggle, wrap it really well & stash it in your luggage & hope it gets through. If you just want to be up-front about it & for 1 bottle of Dom this is what I recomend, keep it with your carry on items, if they say anything, explain it's for a special occasion (make one up if you have to; I've never had a problem w/ them when I explained I prefer to drink my bubbles at sail away :D ). they'll take it, put a sticker on it w/ your cabin # then bring it back to you at your request.
