Dream safes

Hello everyone! I have a quick question about the safes on the Dream. I know on some of the Carnival ships the safes you slide a card with a strip on it. So my question is this, On the Dream does the safes have a strip for a card to open it or does it have a keypad? The reason i want to know is so if I need to bring an old credit card for the safe or if it has a keypad i can just leave them at home.

Thanks in advance!

I was on the Dream last week. The safe used the keypad. You set up a 4-digit pin for locking/unlocking thesafe.

Ahhhh... yeah I think the keypad option was better anyhow.

I guess in my assumption I should have considered since the older ship had been renovated some time ago, that they updated the safes as well - maybe.
