What are the best places to get insurance?

We are exactly three weeks out from our cruise today and I have decided that insurance would be a smart idea after all. Yeah, I know I should have done this sooner but I've never been the sort to buy the insurance package when i book our cruises. Im sure there's a lecture involved in there but i am trying to be a bit more proactive now!!

So, my question to the seasoned travelers on CC is;

Is it too late to even buy insurance and if not, should I just try to get the RCI package or try another site??

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

You can purchase insurance. However it's too late to purchase a policy to that would cover any pre-existing medical conditions. To have gotten this waiver you would have had to purchase the insurance within a specified period of time from the initial booking date. Generally to have pre-existing conditions waive the policy would have had to be purchased within 10 days from the initial booking. At this point it would cover cancelation and some medical provided it's not related to a pre-existing condition.

Sites to check are

I would imagine that any cancellation by someone buying a policy within three weeks of a trip would be reason for heavy scrutiny by the insurance company. I would be buying a policy at this point for medical, trip delay, missed connection only and not concerned about any cancellation benefit.
