Where do I put the mixers for Bon Voyage alcohol?

We have ordered Tequila and Crown Royal from Bon Voyage, I will be ordering a soda card to take care of the mixers for the Crown but we plan on bringing 2 bottles of the margarita pre mix~like Chi-Chi's~does this have to go in the carry-on or can we put it in the checked luggage?

I would just carry it on. Shouldn't be an issue in your carry on. They may see it in the checked baggage as "smuggling" and take it until the end of your cruise.

I wondered the same thing. I've seen people bring box wine before so last time I brought the Sauza Margarita's in a box. I took the bag out of the box and carried it on. Enjoyed having a chilled margarita on the rocks. Kept my liquor bill down, but not much. :D

The mix I am referring to is the non-alcoholic kind that we will mix with the tequila we pre ordered.

Carry on is correct but they recently changed the size they allow you to bring on to a maximum of 20 ounces so you *might* be denied bringing them on. Since this is a new rule, I'm not sure how strict they are about it yet~~

Ya think? I don't read it as maximum 240 oz. per person. I see it as 12 bottles, maximum 20 oz or less each bottle, per person.

 

I get your math, just not sure how that will fly with Carnival security.

 

If that's the case, I can bring on a couple 64 oz. fruit punch, etc. containers? We were planning on limited it to each container being 20 oz or less.

I think they designed the rule for people bringing things like sodas -- but I would imagine they'll check the total ounces for your mixers. We plan on bringing bloody mary mix.

It does not matter is soda, water, juice, mixers of any liquid kind.

 

12 cans or bottles with a 20oz max each.

Order Sugar Free Margarita Mix Singles from Baja Bob's then you won't have to worry about it. I have used them on both cruises this year, with the tequila purchased from Bon Voyage, and they are very good and easy to make one drink at a time!

 

And no, they don't taste nasty like some sugar free stuff does. If you have time, order some and test at home. That's what we did.

That list online is not for ordering liquor through Bon Voyage dept. Go to this site, it has current list and phone number that you have to call to order liquor.

We brought a plastic one on the last Splendor cruise - it was the one they served my margarita in at a Dodgers game :D Worked like a charm. If there's a Chilis anywhere near you? Go on in and get a Presidente margarita and see if they'll give you the shaker - same thing :D
