balmybreeze Posted September 27, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2011 Has anyone ever had this cabin? We are a little concerned that it is the last balcony on the back of the deck and it looks like there is a solid wall on the back side sticking out a little (that cabin would be a special suite). Wondering if it will be hard to see around it and if the vibrations will be really loud when we dock.

robtulipe Posted September 27, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2011 Here a shot of cabin E746's balcony on Emerald which is indicated by the arrow. As you can see you need to be at the railing to look directly astern but this is the same for all side balconies on the Emerald as the balcony dividers does block the rearward view for these cabins. I haven't been on Emerald, soon will be, but previously we had a corner aft cabin on another ship and we did get a short (10-15 seconds) period of vibration when the ship slowed down suddenly which was typically just before entering a port.
