olson1960 Posted April 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2004 Hi, I'm booked on the Norwegian Star for 4/18. I've been reading the boards for awhile now, and I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but here goes: Do we have to make dinner reservations for the main dining rooms? Some people have posted about making reservations for dinner; are they referring to the specialty (a.k.a. "not free") restaurants?
smeyer418 Posted April 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 1, 2004 you don't have to make reservations at the main dining rooms. However there are free(speciality) restuarants that you do need to make reservations for. There are also charge restuarants that also need reservations.... olson1960 Posted April 1, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted April 1, 2004 Thanks for your answer. I didn't realize there are specialty restaurants that are free. I thought only the main dining rooms and the buffet/snack-type places were free. Another question: Are soft drinks free?
smeyer418 Posted April 1, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2004 no- I assume you mean soda(pop). Ice tea and tap water are free..
olson1960 Posted April 1, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted April 1, 2004 Yes, I meant soda pop. I think it was free when I cruised on Celebrity a couple of years ago (can't remember for sure, though). What about coffee? Gotta have that caffeine, even on vacation.
smeyer418 Posted April 1, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2004 Coffee and tea are free pretty much everywhere.Good room service coffee and cookies in the pm. Capuccino is free in the dining rooms. I think Celebrity is now charging for soda look at the celbrity thread if you want to.
