Snuba

I watched my wife and kids do it while I was scuba diving. You breath thru a regulator just like scuba, but instead of having a tank on your back, you are connected to a tank in a raft with a 20-25ft (about 7-8 meters) long hose. You can only go as deep as the hose is long. IMO it is WAY better than snorkeling, much more freedom and you never get water down your snorkel.
