Water temp for snorkeling

We will be in Roatan Oct. 18th. Does anyone know the water temps? We would Love to go snorkeling but I'm concerned it might be too cold. Thanks in advance

I would not be concerned at all about the water temp in Oct. However, I can dive comfortably to about 80 with no wetsuit and 75 with a 3mm. Some people are wearing 5mm and hoods at 75.

 

So really you have to ask yourself if you are sensitive to cold water and also how long you plan to be in the water.
