Bourbonjim Posted April 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2005 We recently visited Belize aboard the Carnival Legend. We wanted to do cave tubing, but thought the ship's price was too high. We teamed up with Jeff and Penny and went with a "local" guide. Youny had another excursion to handle, so he handed us off to Junior. Junior proved to be a more than capable guide. His knowledge of Belize culture, history, and the local flora and fauna made this an extremely enjoyable experience. Our tubing was great. With only 5 folks in the group, we had no trouble keeping together and hearing everything Junior said about the caves, etc. Junior and Youny are very vigilent about getting you back to the dock in plenty of time, yet we never felt rushed. Our experience was definitely much better than that of the 250+ folks that paid for the ship's tour. Whether you are cave tubing, or snorkeling, I very highly recommend Youny. Thanks Youny and Junior, and Butts Up!
