Casinos on Land?

We are sailing on NCL Jewel next week to Canada stopping in Sydney, Hailfax and Saint John and was wondering if there are any casinos near where we dock since we do not want to lose all of our money at the Casino on board though we would spread our lossess

Halifax has one quick cab ride from Port or 15 min walk along the waterfront. good luck!!!

The one in Sydney is a very close walk from the ship. Less than 10min. We didn't go in but we did see it.

On the westcoast of Canada, there are plenty of casinos. Vancouver has 3 or 4 of them and Victoria has 1 major casino. Rules are a bit different though compared to Vegas.
