does RCCL let you get money off your sign and sail card??like for the casino, etc???

I dont want to travel with alot of cash for the ports...

 

 

and do they show your room charges on your tv???

like a menu option? like carnival...?

You can get cash in the casino from your on board account, but they will charge you 3%.

 

Most of Royal's ships have the capability to show your charges on the interactive TV. Mariner is one of them.

Yes, there is an ATM on board Mariner.

This is correct, BUT, I see the ATM's out of order more often than not, so I wouldn't depend on them.

The service charge for the ATM's is around $7 per transaction.

We bring travelers checks (yes, I know they are old-fashioned) and cash, all carefully stowed in a money belt. When needed we convert money at guest relations. Exchange rate is reasonable and we only convert what we need. Then we only carry in port what we need. The rest stays on the ship in the safe.

We still use travelers checks

We've never been on the Mariner but on other RCCL ships we've cashed the US Travelers checks for USD or in Europe Euros. Never cashed more than $200 at a time so we don't know what the limit is.
