peachpitts Posted October 7, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2011 Does anyone know why the shore excursion to Gof's Cay has been cancelled off the LIberty excursion list for the January cruise?
ibcnusoon Posted October 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 10, 2011 I was wondering the same thing too, it was also taken off the list of excursions on our cruise next month.
mn_isla_girl Posted October 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2011 I got an e-mail from Carnival saying it was cancelled due to 'operational concerns', whatever that means. I booked it yesterdary thru Island Marketing, it was only $40 pp and longer than the Carnival excursion so I'm happy, it also includes rum punch, gotta like that!!! They just require a 20% deposit then you pay the balance in cash when you get there.
ibcnusoon Posted October 12, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 12, 2011 Ahh, thanks for the update. I think we'll stick with our mayan ruins tour. We'll need a break from the beaches the rest of the cruise. :p We are using Island Marketing for an excursion in Grand Cayman, so far so good, they've answered all of our questions quickly. I think 20% deposit is standard, I have no problem paying that then to pay in full up front. So far, so good!
