Tipping

We are on Freedom dining, as we were last year on ventura. Can you still choose to opt out of the tipping at reception and choose who you would like to tip and give it to them direct? thats what I did last year. Anyone know??

I was on Oceana 5wks ago and this was a option if you went to reception to ammend your OBA

 

Were on the Azura the 14th Oct so will let you know when we return

I emailed P and O regarding this and received a response stating that upon boarding, if you visit reception and tell them that you want to opt out of the £1.60 per day service charge, they will make sure it isn't charged. We did this on Oceana in 2008 and then just tipped the people we wanted to, and separately for cabin crew.
