Ardastra Gardens and beach time- which first?

Hi everyone,

 

I will be in Nassau on Saturday, Oct. 15th at 8; I want to be back on the ship around 6. I'd like to see the Flamingo show at Ardastra Gardens which is at 10:30, 2:10, or 4:10.

 

Any recommendations on if I should do the beach first or gardens first? I'm leaning towards Cable Beach at the Sheraton. But, I've also considered Junkanoo since I don't have a whole lot of time. Also, my friend may want to hit the straw market.

 

Please help me pick a beach and decide where to head first. Thanks!

Would choose to go to Ardastra Gardens in the morning, have a quick lunch on the ship and take a taxi to the Sheraton for the afternoon. They have nice pools, as well as a good beach.

Does this mean that the gardens are close to the ship? What kind of transportation should we use to get to and from the gardens? Walk, bus, cab?

Hi- A taxi would be best. Kind of a long walk.
