stargate fan Posted October 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2011 When I look for prices on the Fare Viewer website, I see Past Guest rates, but I don't when I do a fake booking on the Carnival website. Has anyone else been experiencing this?
jaddld Posted October 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2011 Yes - I've seen that same thing happen & asked Carnival's website techs about it. This is what Carnival sent me in response....note at first they did not know what Fareviewer was until I sent a link to it. Thank you for contacting us. We appreciate the opportunity to be of assistance. After reviewing both links, the Early Saver Fare Viewer should be the one you use to check if the price has gone lower on your sailing. This tool will show all the promotions to compare the prices. As for the Find a Cruise Link, if you are booking a new cruise this will provide you with the top promotions available on a sailing. This is why it does not show all the promotions at once because the lowest rate is the Early Saver promotion when available. As you get closer to your sailing more promotions can be viewed We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
