self guided tour

Cayman Auto Rentals does have scooters, but unless you are comfortable driving in traffic conditions akin to Burlington during rush hour, a car or even taking the public bus would probably be a better bet. The corridor from the port area in George Town, across 7MB, up to West Bay where your attractions of interest are, is heavily trafficked during most hours and there are little or no shoulders along most of the route.

The Turtle Farm, Hell, Dolphin pens and northern Seven Mile Beach access areas are all in the same general area.

Our group likes to rent scooters. We are motorbike people. Places like Cozumel and Nassau, even Tortola, (where they drive on the wrong side) can be fun. Cayman is not one of those places. It's work. Like a previous poster stated, traffic, wrong side driving, and locals in a hurry.

Read through these boards, and you'll see a ton of things that you can do on your own, and plan on your own.
