Navigator-cabin doors

I am pretty sure that I know the answer to this, but want to be totally sure. Are the cabin doors metal on the Navigator? There are a few couples going with us in January and I am thinking of getting some little dry erase boards to put on our doors so that we can leave messages for each other. I know that some people going by may add their own messages, and that is fine by me. I want to be able to leave messages so that if I'm not in my cabin, they will still be able to fimd out where I am and what I'm doing. I believe that I can get the dry erase boards for $1-2 each so the expense is practically nothing. Thanks for your help!

If you are talking "Regent Navigator" then the doors are definitely metal!

People (kids) are so rotten! Beware that in addition to writing nasty things (with illustrations), they may change your place/time etc on your notice to your friends. I still love this method of communication and use it every cruise I go on, but just beware! If it is important, you may want to slip a note under their door. :)

ps since this is a RCI message board, I assume the op was referring to the Navigator of the Seas.
