Shore Excursion Advice for a Couple in mid-30's

My husband and I are going to be in Barbados for the 1st time in Nov. Any recommendations on what to do? We aren't into snorkelling/ scuba but everything else goes... history tours, beaches, kayaking, party boats. Since it's our 1st time here we really want to make the most of our stop. jost van dyke island- white bay is awsome but there are issues with tore companies. if offered by the ship take it. we took it last year thru ncl and it was the best stop of 15 night cruise. great!!!! beach, awesome light crowd and perfect pain killer drinks.
