Golf in San Juan

We will be in San Juan on 12/6/11 on the Eurodam, and are looking for a 18 hole golf course that rents clubs. We arrive at 1pm so need someplace not too far from the port. Looking for nice course and not too expensive. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I'm pretty sure there's no golf courses in SJ but there's a driving range at the San Juan golf academy but not an 18 hole course. The closest golf courses are the ones located in Dorado PR (30 minutes driving north-west). You can check this website for more information but my husband which is a golfer, told me that when we were living in SJ there were none there. That was in 2006.

Look up Trump International Golf Club, it's about 30 minutes east of SJ.:) We are down there the 1 st week of January and TGC looks as good as any, there is a PGA stop the sometime in March I beleive.

ja: go to Dorado Beach. One of the most beautiful courses I've ever played.
