Shore Excursion question

How long in advance can you book shore excursions with Carnival? There are 6 of us cruising in June 2012 and we want to make sure we all get on the same excursions together. Thanks for the info :)

You can't book excursions until you have made final payment on cruise.

I have also booked prior to final payment-since you pay up front for the excursions, there is no real down side for CCL.

Some excursions have a limited # on each one, so if there is a special one, like the America's Cup Racing, you need to sign up early, especially with 6 people. Enjoy!

If you have a valid booking number, have met all deposit requirements for each guest you will be booking shore excursions for, but not yet within 3 days prior to your sailing, you may book online. Some excursions have a limited capacity so booking early may ensure that the excursions you want are available.

Thank you for all the info. I guess we should start checking out all the excursions and book them before its too late.

I was told by a Carnival rep. on the phone that you could book excursions 180 days out.

Looks like we will be on the same cruise. So does that mean that it is too soon to book since we are 235 days from our sailing?
