Another time question

We will be sailing on the Voyager of the Seas in April, departing from New Orleans. I assume that the ship time will stay on Central time. The ship itinerary lists arrival in Georgetown at 10AM. The Cayman Port Authority lists arrival also at 10AM. When I contacted Captain Marvins about the 11:15 tour, they responded that with the ship staying on Central time we would actually be arriving at 11 AM Cayman time. I am confused. Can someone please explain and confirm what time will will arrive (Cayman time). Thanks!

The Cayman Islands observe Eastern Standard Time all throughout the year. They do not observe daylight savings time at all.

When the USA is observing daylight savings time, the time in the Cayman Islands would mirror CDT. When the USA is observing standard time the Cayman Islands mirror EST.

As time is relative, it will depend on what time you ship is observing as to what the corresponding time on Grand Cayman will be. If the port authority lists a 10 AM arrival that would be the observed time your ship arrives at port.
