Name Of The Game Posted October 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2011 Carnival fan here. We always get inside cabins. We love their food and comfortable beds but were thinking of trying a new line for a change. We're looking at the Dawn sailing Nov 2012 to Belize, Roatan, Cozumel (have been to those three) and Costa Maya. We can get an inside room on the 9th deck (looks like a quiet deck) for the two of us for about $1,070.00. There's supposedly a "big sale" giving back onboard credit but according to the NCL website we'd only get $25.00 because it's an inside room. If we're reading things correctly, one of the cruise booking agencies is adding an additional $100.00 OBC but will charge a $100.00 fee if we cancel and don't rebook another cruise with them. Do you think this is a great price for this cruise or should we keep looking since it's so early? Do they give the OBC often? Thanks for your help. CruisinMaterial Posted October 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 21, 2011 Every few sales NCL offers OBC. It depends on the sale and location of it. The FREESTYLE Dash promotion usually carries an across the board onboard credit depending on cabin type booked. However, if the price is cheap enough like the one you have for an interior then I would suggest you book it. If you're concerned about the need to cancel then I would suggest you book it directly with NCL. Yes you will not get the $100 OBC but if the price changes and you notice it then you can call NCL (before final payment) and get the newer lower price. :)
Bananas27 Posted October 21, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 21, 2011 Take a look at what the November 2011 last minute cruises are going for. Fall is a bargain time for the Caribbean. Probably no need to book so far ahead.
