Allure/Oasis- 3 and 6 year olds

We are traveling in March on the western caribbean Allure with our 3 and 6 year olds. I would love to get some feedback from other people who have travelled in a similar or close scenario. Food, cabins, things for kids to do, ship too big with these ages, ports. Any, any feedback would be much appreciated. We will be staying in two connecting balconies.

We've cruised both Allure and Oasis with a child in the 3-5 age group, but haven't yet experienced the 6-8 group yet...that will happen in December. Our DD loves AO, and will give up pool time to go there. The size of the ship isn't an issue with our family, we're happy to be on a cruise! That being said, my older (teenage) DDs prefer the larger ship because there are so many more activites for them.

 

As for the ports, Labadee is a great day at the beach. Plan on a small bucket and shovel for each of the kids, and you're set for the day. As for the other stops, for us the ship itself was our destination, and we preferred to stay onboard. We cruise often, and have seen them several times so we didn't mind skipping them.

Just sailed the Allure, Food is plentiful and available throughout the ship, along with room service. Cabins are family friendly, however there are various shapes within same category.

As you can see, there is a nice variety of activities. There are also several "family" activities.

 

It was hard to see and do everything on the ship, you'll want to deposit for your future cruise while on board.
