never done before- is there still chance for price drop?

sail in 25 days (jumping up and down and shaking my hands like a loon)!!!!! yah!!!

there are still available: 51 interior rooms, 62 ov rooms, and 1 porthole=114 rooms left!!!

but the price is NOT dropping.. or should i say dropping YET? is there still a chance for a price drop? i dont know how unusual it is for carnival to have this many empty this close?

also... will they probably offer upgrades to those in interior to ov, then drop prices only on the interior? I have an ov.

help if you can!

Last year about a week and a half before we left - major price drops. I also received a call for an upgrade....and took it. We moved into the grand suite....yayyy. We loved it. Shortly after we accepted the Grand Suite - the ship was booked full.

My cruise started dropping dramatically this week and we are now 17 days out.

i simply go on as if i am going to book and count the open rooms. takes about 10 minutes, and dont plan to do it every time.. but i dont know if theres a place to just see ALL of the open rooms together on one page. sorry.

This is one out of two cruises using ES & it's working in our favor this time :D So far, between two of us, we've accrued $480 OBC :eek: Our most recent price drop was $100 about a week ago & we sail this Sunday :) We've also had several opportunities to upgrade but we would rather hang on to our coveted "bowling alley balcony" :D I wouldn't mind another price drop but I'm very satisfied with the OBC we have now.

 

Don't lose hope & check for price drops daily!
