nathan Posted November 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2011 Leaving soon on the Fantasy and I'd really like to take this tour. I've seen the pursers office and the shore excursion desk listed as where to sign up. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!
rjschaack16 Posted November 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2011 I did this tour on the Glory last Jan and we signed up at the Excursion Desk.
nwcruiselover Posted November 8, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2011 I did it on the Spirit, and the sign-up was at the excursion desk there too. Just be aware that they have only two groups of 16 that can go on each cruise, and they sell out very quickly. If you want to be sure to get on the tour, go to the excursion desk as soon as you get on the ship. It was $95 apiece for us, but I think it's less on the smaller ships. It took about 3-1/2 hours, involved lots of walking and stairs, and we got some fun goodies at the end. Totally worth the price! Nancy
nathan Posted November 8, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted November 8, 2011 Thank you both. I'll go to the shore excursion desk as soon as I board.
VTDobby Posted November 8, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 8, 2011 We did it on the Fascination in Jan. We went to the shore excursions desk, and do it as soon as you get on, our tour only took 16 people and it fills up fast. I think it cost us 55 per person but was definitely worth it. The tour for us was on the last sea day. Enjoy.
Colorado Kat Posted November 8, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 8, 2011 Yes, do it as soon as you board. And make sure you have sneakers, or some other closed-toe shoes. (As in not sandals)
samrothstein Posted November 8, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 8, 2011 Just did it on destiny this past week. It was $55 per person, and done the day before returning to Miami. Well worth the money and time (and stairs) if you like learning how things work.
