Dream room 6040

Hello. My sister and I will be taking our first Disney cruise next year! :) We are booked in room 6040 on the Dream. Has anyone stayed in this room? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks!

I could not find reviews on the DIS Rooms Reviews but here are a few rooms next to yours.

Room 6042

Notes: Closest port stateroom to the forward stairs. Very convenient. Verandah was nice, but looked down on one of the extended balconies (stateroom 5048, I believe). We could see those guests whenever they were near the rail. Usually not a problem, but they were smokers and the smoke would waft up to us from time to time.

Room 6046

Notes: Very convenient to the forward elevators and the stairs. Just two or three flights down and you are at the theater. Convenient to go up to the top deck, coming out at the adult pool, and a quick walk to the main pool. Quiet location even though it is by the elevators. This room is clear of the yellow lifeboats. The deck below's verandah extended out slightly further. View when parked at Castaway Cay was of the dock and ocean. We had three adults in the room, plenty of space for unpacking and storing suitcases under the bed.

Thank you for your reply, Mike and Nick. It sounds like 6040 will be a good choice. We are really looking forward to our Disney cruise! Thanks again! :)
