wristband Posted November 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2011 I can't recall from prior Mariner cruises - what is the policy regarding cash advances in the casino? Is this a credit card cash advance (thus incurring a % + fee by the card issuer) or is this a simple debit against our shipboard account that is settled at the end of voyage against our VISA or AmEx card on file? The first possibility incurs a charge imposed by the issuing card bank - same as cash withdrawn at an foreign ATM. The second imposes NO fees or interest. It is posted as a shipboard expense, a line item listed on our final bill at disembarkation (paid in full by the end of the credit card cycle). Which is it: fee or no fee? Thanks.
