10 day wind excursion/port times

when sailing on the wind are the port times the arrival of the ship to each port or the time anticipated on the island? in other words, if it says 9:30 -5:00 do we have to be on the ship at five or is it at four to be there an hour before it sails at 5:00? once answered, do you find the ship is pretty consistent with the times?

They usually recommend being back onboard an hour before the ship is scheduled to leave port. And usually they say last boarding 1/2 hour before departure.
