tankersbabe Posted April 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2005 HELP! I am stressing out now... Booked Captain Bryans Buccaneer excursion...am really concerned now about tendering back to the ship and being pressed for time. The Miracle departs at 4pm... I can't remember if the Miracle is on Central time, or eastern time! HELP! If it is on Central, then I am fine....we will be back to the pier in plenty of time. Anyone else done this excursion and how time pressed were you? thanks!
Ellya Posted April 8, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2005 It is my understanding that the Miracle is on Eastern Time. Grand Cayman does not keep daylight savings time so it is, in effect, on Central Time. If that is wrong please let me know because I am in the same dilemma. tankersbabe Posted April 8, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted April 8, 2005 Yup, Grand Cayman is central time. I pulled a set of Miracle capers from a few sailings ago last night. Right there on the front of the Grand Cayman caper it says "Last Tender departs at 3pm" That is a 15 minute window to get back to the ship. Too close for comfort for me. Captain Bryans staff was great about changing my reservation yesterday. I was disappointed that we won't be on the Bucanneer, but at least I won't be watching my watch the whole time and panicking. *sigh* Stef
