Cruisetours to Alaska on Princess

We are signed up for a Crruise tour to Alaska on June20th. We have been on several cruises and this will be our third on Princess. We have never attached a tour at the end. This is an escorted tour to Denalai and Mckinnley and back to Anchorage. Total of 5 additonal days. What is the luggage situariton and how do they handle it?

Generally, you divide your Stuff into two bags, one bag to take on the tour and another that will meet you at the end of the tour. If doing the tour before the cruise, the other bag is marked "Meet me at the Ship". I don't know the exact procedure doing the tour after the crise like you are doing.

Same procedure for the cruisetour before your cruise. We did a princess cruisetour in September 2008 and absolutely loved it. We divided our luggage into a bag to take on the cruise tour and the rest to meet us on the ship. Absolutely no problems.

 

A word of advise at Denali though - make sure you are on the Tundra Wilderness tour rather than the natural history tour which only goes 17 miles into the park. You will find more information on the Alaska board which has some great tips.
