Suggest a beach for me...

We are heading to St. Thomas next week (yay!) and I need a suggestion for a beach. I'm traveling with my husband (29 years old, likes to play in the waves), my dad (56, 1st time cruiser), and my 10 month old (she's just along for the ride!). We prefer to take the public bus if possible. We aren't interested in water sports or scuba diving. We'll probably just spend a couple of hours in the morning at the beach and then head back towards the ship/downtown for a little shopping. Based on all of this information, which beach would you suggest for us? Thanks so much!
