boarding Pride of America

Can anyone who has sailed on Pride of America from Oahu help me out please. I will be arriving at the port at midday. Can I check on board, baggage etc and then disembark again to explore downtown, boarding again at 4-5pm?

Any thoughts on this?

We did this cruise three weeks ago.

 

1. You can check your bags and leave without doing the check in process. We checked our bags at 10:00am. That was the earliest they would let us check bags. Tip, if you have a rental car you can't park in the area. So I had to drive around in a circle two times waiting to pickup the members of our party that checked our bags. We came back at 3:00pm and did the check in process and boarded the ship.

 

2. You can check your bags and go through the check in and boarding process, then leave the ship. There is a special gate to return. It's for people already checked in and crew members returning.
