Did you do Altos De Chavon privately? If so did it cost anything other than transportation to get there?

 

How did you like it?

 

Yes we did it by cab.

 

$30 round trip for 4 people, and $5 each for entrance to Altos de Chavon.

 

Its not bad.....Your options at this port are limited. You can leave and be back on ship 2hrs later.

Does the miracle have a pool with a retractable roof? We are leaving from NYC in April and was wondering if it was chilly that there would be a covered pool...the kids will be dying to get in!

Yes, the main Lido pool has the retractable roof...have never seen it closed on Miracle or Legend (was always fairly warm). But they closed it a couple of times on the Freedom last month and it turned into a really noisy sauna!:eek:
