We got to Japan just on the right day for the Cherry Blossom, very spectacular indeed. We booked a China based tourist guide for a few days pre-cruise in Beijing and that work so very well. We were held up with lost luggage when we arrived in Beijing and the driver waited 2 hours for us! Naturally we gave him a nice tip, but we were surprised he waited that long. You will have a great time, the ports are all very interesting and the ship experience was excellent, our first on Oceania but not our last!
