4wheelr Posted December 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Hi all - My wife and I will be on a cruise in February to Nassau and Half moon Cay on Carnival Fascination. We were in Nassau just this past August on a cruise with the whole family and did some exploring, but this time it will just be to two of us. I am thinking I would like to explore around Atlantis, but... I do not want to purchase an actual excursion from the cruise line. So... can anyone tell me if we can get there and walk around the resort, gamble, walk to the beach, etc.?? I am not sure what to expect and/or do there. Atlantis looks really cool; however, if it is all locked up and only accessible to 'guests' then I won't waste my relaxation time. ;) I appreciate any feedback y'all have from prior experiences. THANKS!!

THANKS!! Unless ur a gambler or facinated by hotel lobbies, there's not much else u can do or see at Atlantis. Don't waste your time. You can't even hang out in the lobby without being ushered to the casino. There's plenty of other things to do.. from hotel day passes to snorkeling tours, private islands, historic tours, dolphins, stingrays and plenty more. What's your interest??
