Do they like water , shopping , lounging , etc .

For my bunch , I would take a cab to the Butterfly farm and then go beaching at Le galion Beach . The only thing is it's a good 300 yd walk between the two places . But once your at the beach it's nice and peaceful with great shallow water for the little ones . That's one choice . Hope it helps ! Ted

We are going to St.Martin end of Jan 2012, we have seniors, 4 kids ( 2, 5, 9 7, years old), please advise where is the best place to go in St. Martin. Thanks a lot.

The Butterfly Farm and LeGalion is a great combination for children. I enjoyed the butterfly farm this past summer on our visit and LeGalion is a great authentic Caribbean beach. It is a great place for kids, calm and shallow and there is natural shade as well. In case you have already been there or would like another option, Aquamania out of the Pelican Marina offers a few interesting excursions for children. The Playstation looks like great fun and we watched children playing on that and they have a boat excursion in the lagoon that stops at the awesome new carousel. It is the coolest building and a really nice addition to the island. Adults and children alike will enjoy their visit. Here is the Aquamania website:
