Splendor Mex Riviera - MZT Stop?

We have just returned from a vacation in Puerto Vallarta and were told by guests at our hotel that they had been told Carnival is lifting the itinerary freeze on the Mazatlan stop.

 

Since we are sailing on Splendor out of LB on 15 Jan 12 I've skimmed these threads trying to verify what we heard but see nothing about it so I'm guessing it was a false rumour. We also anticipated/hoped an information update email from Carnival would be waiting for us but ....... zilch.

 

Has anyone heard differently?

As of now, there is no news of any changes. Carnival still shows all of thier sailings to the MR as two days in Cabo and PV.

I wish they would add Maz back on or maybe go to La Paz. We like Cabo, but have been there many times.

We're on that sailing with friends.

 

Would love to see Mazatlan added back as a stop.
