Atlantis Submarine

I am thinking about booking the atlantis submarine. Can't decide whether to book it on our own and seek out our own transportation or book thru the ships excursions. Well, today I have tried 4 times and I cant get the Atlantis Submarine website to work. So my 2 questions are...

1. Book on our own or thru the ship ?

2. Anyone heard anything about this Atlantis submarine website?

3. How far is Atlantis Submarine from the ship (Carnival Victory)?

This is one tour that may be better just booking through the ship. Not sure what Carnival's pricing is like, but for RCI, booking with the ship only adds a couple of bucks to the price.

We did the sub trip and booked it via Thomson ship.

We did this for 2 reasons,it was cheaper that way and you are guaranteed to be on a trip that has only English speaking passengers

 

Whether it is walkable from the ship if you decide to do it yourself depends on where the ship is docked and you won't know that until you wake up.

 

It is a very pleasant experience and one I would recommend to you.
