raetime Posted December 27, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2011 Can anyone tell me the surcharge (if any) for using Celebrity's ATM (besides what your bank charges)? Also if you use your Sea Pass in the Casino to get money, what is the fee? I called Customer Service but they didn't know the amount they charged. Thanks. Rare Milhouse Posted December 27, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2011 IIRC, it's a 3% charge to withdraw cash in the Casino off your seapass. However, they waive the fee if you are withdrawing the cash for a specific casino activity/event (eg. Texas Hold'em tourney fee, etc).

To further clarify, the fee is only waived for tournaments (i.e. an event where you cannot simply cash out chips). If you want casino chips (to be used at table games) or cash for a slot machine you are charged 3%. The ATM's last I heard charged a fee of $6 (separate from any fees charged by your bank). We just returned from Solstice yesterday (1/22) and the surcharge was 5%. At the end of last year it WAS 3%, so I guess they need a wee bit more revenue, eh? ~ Ric
Wine-O Posted January 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2012 I guess one should just bring travelers checks. The ship will cash them for free.
