Right Now I Believe We Have Our Reservation On Deck 8....i Believe That Is The Veranda Deck. Is That A Good Deck To Be On? I Also Think We Are More Towards The Back Of The Ship. I Do Like The Fact That We Are Relatively Close To The Elevators And Stairs.

Thanks!!!!

They are All Good !

However, everyone has a preference or an experience to relay.

Some people feel that the middle of the ship is better as you feel a little less movement......

We had a Deck 8 cabin that was right under the lido deck pool area. We did hear some rearanging of deck chairs early in the mornings and at times a lot of footsteps, I think we were near stairs.

The only other cabin we had a problem with was a Cat. 5A in the very front on the Fantasy. We could hear water slapping against the ship (which after awhile was kind of soothing) but in the very early morning we could hear the anchor chain being lowered and raised.

we like midship, mid decks, Balcony a must!! :)

we like the upper or empress levels. just because its a few stairs up or a few stairs down to get to the decks you hang on couple up your on the lido, couple down your on the promenade. we also like being 2 rooms down from lift stations. always stiars near that way!

the way they have the lift set up on the valor, they don't open to the hall of the ship they are tucked around so you don't hear ding! ding! when the elevator opens.

On the Conquest we were on the upper deck mid ship. It was over the Casino and at night we left the t.v. on cause you could here WHEEL OF FOUTUNE!

May 22 Valor we will be on the LIDO DECK. We are really excited about the upgrade.

We were on Deck 8 on the Triumph in 2003 and loved it. Mid ship close to the main elevators. Booked on the Valor for October this year and again book deck 8. Truely it doesn't matter what deck you are on. If you are willing to have a good time. Than you will not matter where you are.

A few years ago when booking my 2nd cruise on the Destiny and deciding to go from an inside to a balcony cabin, I was given the best advice ever. When booking a balcony, book Deck 7 which on most of the ships is sandwiched between two decks of cabins (Check the ship layout if you are not sure) It cuts down on the noise and you are never below or above any public areas. Also book aft--specifically the L-shaped rooms. You pay the same price as a regular balcony room but the balcony is bigger and the layout of the room is different than regular balcony cabins. We have booked room 7434 on the Valor for April 2006 and we can't wait!!
