Book early to get the best cabin and usually the best price. If prices go down and you have a good agent, they will get the lower price.

I agree with Ma Bell. We book early to select a cabin we want. Our TA always gets us a price reductions when prices fall after we've booked.

Ma Bell has it right.

If you book on board you get a ship board credit for that trip.

Then the TA you assign can get you an actual price.
