Anyone who has KINDLE FIRE- have you taken it with you on the ship?

I am waiting for the Kindle Fire to arrive anyday now. I think since it is just WIFI not 3G you will not be able to download or connect to the internet while on the ship without paying unless in port where you can find a WIFI connection. So any books or videos will have to be downloaded prior.

This sounds right to me. I got mine for Christmas and have downloaded a lot so I won't need WIFI when we're on the cruise. We're going next week so I'll report back when we return!
