beach day, with kids, from Falmouth

Hi:

Traveling first time on RCI VOS in late March with Falmouth as a port. Travelers include myself, husband, and out two kids, age 12 and 5. We would like a beach day, low key if possible. We don't need fancy ammenities, for sure though something decent to eat, chairs, a bathroom of course. We're a fairly low key family and comfotable with doing something on our own...not booked through the ship, if it will save us money and be safe. But we're also not opposed to spending some extra money if we really get something more out of it, better food, better beach, etc.

I've read about Doctor's Cave, My time and place, and one that was associated with a resort, with water park (which seemed a bit more than what we feel like we need to enjoy the beach)....opinions?

Thank you!
