Tourists do not need a fishing license.

 

Caymanians do not need a fishing license.

 

Anyone fishing from a boat does not need a fishing license.

 

Non-Caymanians who 1) reside in Cayman and 2)who fish from shore and 3)who keep what they catch (ie not catch-and-release), do need a fishing license. License is CI$150 (US$187.50) for 30 days or CI$400 (US$500) for one year.
